ABOUT CLAIRE RILEY

Hi there! My name is Claire Riley, and I’m an NYC based actor originally from New Jersey, so don’t ask me which state is better because the jury’s still out. I fell in love with theatre years ago when I was cast as a little boy in “A Christmas Carol” and with every little boy i’ve played since then my love has only grown.

 

As a non-binary actor, I am always seeking roles that showcase those of us who are not always represented. I love of taking on explicitly non-binary roles, but I also enjoy exploring the flexibility in my gender expression by taking on traditionally masculine or feminine roles. These roles embody the different elements of gender expression that I hold within myself.

 

As an artist, I love having the creative flexibility to work both on and offstage. In addition to my acting jobs, I work as a scenic painter and props master, helping to build the worlds around the shows I have the pleasure to work on. I am always seeking production opportunities as well as performance, so if you are interested in seeing more of my work please reach out.

 

When I’m not acting I am usually look for a new place to skateboard or coming up with a beatbox trick to impress people with at parties.
